The Oura Ring 4 gets bigger and smarter

While many companies are only just now launching their first smart rings, Oura has announced their 4th generation product: The Oura Ring 4.

There's not much that can be changed as far as a ring design goes, but Oura did increase sizing to support ring sizes from 4 to 15. The new ring is made fully from titanium and will come with a newly redesigned app.

The new rings will also be more accurate with measurements as it will now utilize new algorithms that will increase signal paths to target what it should be scanning for. That means readings for sleep heart rate and other metrics should see significant increases in accurate measurements. Being more effective in the algorithm will also provide the Ring 4 with better battery life as Oura says the new ring should last up to eight days.

You can order the Oura ring now to ship on October 15th, starting at $349.
