Rivian to unveil the R2 vehicle EV platform on March 7th

The long-anticipated cheaper model of the Rivian brand, the R2, is expected to launch in the $40,000 range making it the company’s foray into a more affordable electric vehicle option. With a lot of expectations, the long anticipated competitor to Tesla’s Model Y will be a launching point for the startup’s attempt into the mainstream electric car market.
