The holiday season has always brought out a sense of community and goodwill. That is especially needed now more than ever in a world that is stuck in an endless loop of coronavirus and quarantines. A couple months ago, our contacts at Lenovo asked us if we wanted to review a handful of products and give them away to our viewers after. We were overwhelmingly surprised to receive a whole lineup of brand new sealed products just a week later. Included in this generous holiday giveaway were:

All of this combines for a whopping total of $1577 on the current market. That’s a lot of tech, but especially so when you view it all together as a package. These gadgets compliment one another to cover various aspects of a user’s life. So we got to thinking! Instead of splitting this up and shipping it to various people, why don’t we give it to someone who could use it for school? After all, this could be someone’s full dorm setup for college. With coronavirus stripping away many young adult’s first job opportunities, students are void of having extra savings to prepare them for their university trials. To complete the package, we decided to also add in a brand new OnePlus N200 cell phone so that this person can stay in touch with their family and friends while away at school. With that, we began a search to find a candidate who could was in need as they enter the next phase of their life.
After various text messages and emails in our network, we were introduced to Erika, a local high school teacher based in Southern California who works with deaf and hearing-impaired students. We were inspired by her work and she was able to match us with a student, Andres, who she thought would greatly benefit from these gifts for the next chapter in his education. During Zoom call with Erika, we were thrilled to learn more about Andres and about the hard work and dedication he put into his studies and goals. With her help and coordination, we were able to deliver all the gifts to Andres just before Christmas.
We are so grateful to you - our readers, viewers and partners. Without your help and support, we would not have been able to achieve this feat and we are so thankful to all of you. Cheers to another year and we’ll see you back in 2022!
