Here Are Some Sony Xperia 5ii Cases From Amazon

The new Xperia 5ii is shaping up to potentially be Sony’s most well rounded phone to date. And while enthusiasm for the cinematic display phone is high, there doesn’t seem to be many phone case accessories for sale. However, there are still a few good options on Amazon for those of us out there with this $999 Xperia looking for a case.

Caseology

If you’re looking for the closest thing to a Spigen-type case for the Xperia 5ii, Caseology is the way to go. With a Matte Black TPU aesthetic accompanied by a tight quarter slanted stripe window design, this case is an easy choice for just about anybody. It has a nice textured body and guards all the way around the four sides of the phone only leaving slots for the fingerprint scanner, USB-C port and the headphone jack.

Arkour

If you’re looking for the slimmest option, the Arkour case will get you pretty close to a naked phone experience. As a hard touch plastic snap on case, essentially every single side of the phone with the exception of one is exposed. That means you’ll be feeling a lot of the smooth aluminum frame of the 5ii on your fingertips. Don’t anticipate drop protection, but at least the rear cameras are comfortably seated below a lip. This means the lens won’t be directly touching the surface of the table when the phone is seated on a table. That’s really what you’re buying a case like this for.

Entaifang

Since this is an Xperia and not an iPhone, we unfortunately don’t have a lot of cases with character. The only thing I could dig up on Amazon was this Koi fish art case from Entaifeng. It’s a TPU rubber case with a bit of a textured art backing that you can feel out with your fingers. The case protects the rims of the phone pretty well but the cutouts do seem to be slightly too large. With that said, it certainly isn't a generic black case which is rare for a phone with limited options. The Koi fish which is very symbolic of Japanese culture gives the Xperia 5ii a bit of a nod to it’s heritage as a Japanese company. Not a bad option if you’re looking for some style.
