CES 2024: Take a Look at Lutron’s 2024 Smart Home Lineup for Caséta
This year at CES Unveiled 2024, Lutron showcased its Caséta line of smart home integration devices. Spanning across smart shades, dimmers and switches, and outdoor plugs, there’s plenty of ways to stay connected to your home. Let’s take a closer look.
Serena shades
Lutron first showcased Serena, which are remote controlled shades for windows. These are powered smart shades that open and close with the push of a button and can be easily accessed and controlled via smartphone. Features include schedule setting which users to set when and how much daylight enters a space. The shades come in a variety of styles including roller shades, wood blinds or honeycomb shades.
smart dimmers and switches
Lutron also showcased their lineup of smart dimmers and switches. The most convenient part? These switches are direct replacements to normal switches found at your local electronic or home improvement store. Caséta smart switches and dimmers can be controlled from the switch, app, smart remote or via voice assistant. They are available for both indoor and outdoor use. The Lutron smart switches feature a starting price of $99.95.
Outdoor plug for your smart yard
Finally, Lutron highlighted their fully waterproof smart outdoor plug fit for all elements retailing for $79.95. Users can confidently plug in without fear of water intrusion or other outdoor effects thanks to its polycarbonate body and fully encased internal electronics. The waterproof smart outdoor plug is IP66 rated waterproof and can be controlled via Lutron app, voice assistant, a wireless Pico remote or from the switch itself.
