FIFINE AmpliGame A20 Speakers

Actually looks kinda awesome for less than $50

Disclaimer: FIFINE sent us a unit of the A20 Speakers free of charge to review, but all thoughts and opinions expressed in this review are our own and were not discussed with the company prior to publishing.

Affordable, practical, and sleek enough for an office or home setting, the FIFINE AmpliGame A20 speakers are by no means earth shattering from a spec sheet perspective, but they do offer immersive sound for its class and simple touch controls with plug and play features. Let’s take a closer look at this cute gaming speaker.

Cute and compact

The A20 speakers are as easy to setup as plugging and playing so long as you have a 3.5mm headphone jack and Type-A USB port open. Weighing at 934 grams, the speakers are noticeable on a surface, but compact enough to fit on desks with small spaces both horizontally or vertically without occupying much space. They don’t feel the most premium built, but they do feel solid enough to withstand accidental drops while also being functionally lightweight.

The black design is versatile and the FIFINE logo is shadowed across one side of the speaker. The most notable part of the speakers are the two RGB strips that vertically extend on each speaker. Users can easily change the RGB controls through a simple touch on top of the speaker, cycling through dozens of RGB light effects to change the mood. I’m impressed with the quality of the RGB lights - as they’re bright enough to still be noticeable in sunlight yet aren’t overbearing in a darkened room.

Controlling the speakers is also incredibly simple to do. The right speaker houses the power button and the left one manages RGB effects as well as volume level adjustments. It’s as simple as that with no frills and no tricky button combinations. These are speakers that users of any age can easily adapt to.

Gamer Sounds

I can picture these speakers being great for a dorm room or small apartment. By all means, I’ve enjoyed using them in my home office for daily Zoom calls and listening to music. With a 2.0 channel, there’s no subwoofer or heavy bass, but sound quality is crisp, clear, and adaptable. Peaking at 6W, these speakers are not ideal for larger spaces or for those critical of depth within their audio quality. However, they are practical for the vast majority of environments when the user is sitting directly in front of them. They’re also detailed enough for immersive and enjoyable gaming, and music listening experiences. While listening to said music, I was able to hear highs and lows clearly and never heard any distortion even at higher volumes. Using them for Zoom calls was also accepatble and I was able to hear voices clearly.

Colors Of The RGB Rainbow

There are 6 kinds of dynamic modes and 7 color options

Wish List Features

The A20 speakers are wired and therefore don’t have a built-in battery supply. Because of this, they can’t really be used for portability unless your laptop has these ports easily accessible for use. There’s also no built-in Bluetooth connectivity on the speakers, which is a shame because these are extremely small and compact and would be easy to throw into a backpack. I hope FIFINE creates a Bluetooth version in the future even for slightly more that enables users to connect easily via their phone or tablet.

Should You Buy It?

The FIFINE A20 speakers are a straightforward set of cheap gaming speakers that give you adequate and enjoyable quality for a reasonable price. They work exactly as advertised and I think there’s huge value in this space for the simplicity and sound that it offers. They’re not the right speakers if you need heavy bass or very high quality audio, but they’re a solid option for the everyday user looking for some aesthetic speakers flexible enough for work and play.
